At one point, before being obliterated by the white man, the Niles area was teeming with Native Americans who thought the St Joe river was magical because it flowed north. Within the last few years the original location of Fort St. Joseph, a major trading outpost, was found and a museum and possible reproduction of the fort are being talked about.

It is now a destination for antique collectors, historians and fisherman and is starting to attract the local foodie community. It is also the hometown of all 4 of your ACWOT hosts and contributors. It’s quirky and weird and right and left and things move just a bit slower, just like ACWOT.

And that is why, ladies and germs, along with our spot on fact based non-partisan news and political humor you will also find the occasional news report, commentary, insult, inside joke about the ACWOT mecca known as Niles, Michigan.

I think we need to get the FDA in on this because if it’s a drug it will need to be regulated immediately.
